This years theme is a reflection of the meanings of “Home” in different countries and cultures: What do we crave for if we think of “Home”? When we think of our childhood?
Of rituals? Of dialects and songs? Of landscapes? Of smells, colours, sounds?
“Home” is a feeling, a desire, a hope.
“Home” is not an interchangeable place.
"Home" gives us social contact, familiarity, values, authenticity.
Especially the younger generation substitutes ”Home” with the job-related jetset lifestyle. Modern nomadism is the result of mobility. A conflicting and always changing condtion of “Home-s”.
From September 6th - 8th, 2013 the village Tux in the Ziller Valley hosted the 2nd edition of DIVA, the International Monodrama Festival Austria.

„Women of Post-Emancipation“

We all have to manage new challenges in this continuously changing and globalized world. Especially women often have to fight for their right to do with their lives whatever they want. The modern individual is supposed to be efficient and flexible. Especially women often can’t juggle cultural, political and personal values. The conventional role models are obsolete. There is no longer one stereotypical image of women but a lot of individual life concepts that exist side by side.
Five different artistic teams from various nations are exploring the roles of women in their culture.
From October 7th - 9th, 2011 the village Tux in the Ziller Valley hosted the 1st edition of DIVA, the International Monodrama Festival Austria.
